Job summary

A leading healthcare organization in King's Lynn is seeking an Advanced Pharmacist to enhance their acute care services. This role involves providing specialized pharmaceutical care, mentoring junior staff, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings. Applicants should hold a Master's degree in Pharmacy and have extensive experience in hospital settings. Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical or Technical Pharmacy or equivalent experience.
  • Completed Independent Prescribing qualification by start date.
  • Registered as a Pharmacist with the GPhC.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy services.
  • Ability to train and supervise pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical pharmacy service in Acute Care areas.
  • Discuss medications with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Review medication choices in response to complex data.
  • Facilitate patient discharges to maximize flow.
