JOBS247 INC LTD is seeking a Senior Actuary to support periodic portfolio reviews, provide evidence-based pricing recommendations, and collaborate with underwriting and strategy teams in the Greater London area.

Qualifications

• Proven pricing analysis experience for complex or non-standard risks.
• Proficient in Excel, VBA and SQL; able to use R or Python in analyses.
• Strong analytical judgement in low-precedent environments.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across functions and management.
• Fellow of a recognised actuarial body or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, evidence-based pricing recommendations for risk selection and terms.
• Support portfolio monitoring, performance analysis and diversification drivers.
• Develop pricing tools to support underwriting workflows and decision making.
• Maintain interfaces with Reserving, Capital Modelling and Business Planning.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

The Senior Actuary role centres on supporting periodic portfolio reviews, producing objective, data-driven conclusions and recommendations for underwriting or strategic action.

IW&S consists of Everest Syndicate 2786, Everest Insurance (Ireland) DAC (EIID), and Everest Insurance Singapore (EIS).

Skills & experience

• Proficient in Excel, VBA, SQL (with either R or Python
• You’ll need proven experience delivering hands-on actuarial pricing analysis for complex or non-standard risks
• Strong analytical judgement and ability to operate in low-precedent environments

The setup

Your technical focus

• Provide clear, evidence-based pricing recommendations covering: Risk selection, Contract structure, Coverage terms, Pricing adequacy Portfolio monitoring & performance analysis
• Support exposure management by analysing accumulation, diversification and systemic risk drivers
• Provide actuarial pricing analysis for new and renewal portfolio and structured deals, including delegated and follow-line business
• Develop and maintain monitoring and tracking processes to assess:Segment-level and portfolio-level profitability
• Maintain strong feedback loops between Pricing, Reserving, Capital modelling, Business planning
• Communicate complex technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
