Overview

A leading consultancy is seeking a Senior Actuarial Consultant to join its established and highly collaborative pensions actuarial team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced actuary who enjoys client interaction, strategic advisory work, and taking ownership of complex pension projects.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on key strategic pensions matters, including valuations, funding negotiations, integrated risk management, risk settlement projects, PPF levy management and member options.
  • Lead day-to-day relationships with your own set of clients, identifying opportunities to broaden and enhance the services delivered.
  • Support senior colleagues in delivering work and developing relationships with larger, high-profile clients.
  • Project-manage major actuarial work, such as valuation cycles and factor reviews.
  • Take responsibility for the quality and delivery of technical actuarial output, including reviewing work from junior and support teams.
  • Build presence in the local market through networking and maintaining professional connections.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and help shape best practice across the team.
