Job summary

Zest4Talent is recruiting an experienced Senior Acoustician to join an established independent acoustic consultancy in Greater Manchester. This role offers the chance to take ownership of projects and client relationships while developing towards a leadership position.

There is a clear pathway to become Director, with potential for equity and dividends. The successful candidate will work across Building and Environmental acoustics from our Greater Manchester office.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience within acoustic consultancy.
• Good technical background across Building and Environmental Acoustics.
• Confident taking ownership of projects and working directly with clients.
• Commercially aware with an interest in developing relationships and winning work.
• Self-motivated in a smaller consultancy environment.
• Ambitious to progress beyond a purely technical role.
• Leadership potential with increasing responsibility.
• Able to work regularly from the Greater Manchester office.

Responsibilities

• Managing acoustic consultancy projects from initial brief through to completion
• Working across Building and Environmental Acoustics
• Developing practical and commercially appropriate acoustic solutions
• Managing and developing existing client relationships
• Building relationships with architects, developers, contractors and other professionals
• Identifying opportunities and helping to win new work
• Supporting and managing other members of the team
• Contributing to the development of new services and opportunities
• Taking increasing responsibility for clients, projects and the wider business
• Playing a key role in the future growth and direction of the consultancy
