Job summary

Aztrum is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their Chester-based team. The role offers autonomy and involvement in a varied project range across residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, education and development sectors.

You will join a close-knit specialist team delivering acoustic consultancy services across the UK, with opportunities to influence projects from inception to completion and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in an acoustic consultancy environment.
• Degree in Acoustics, Physics or IOA Diploma.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and/or building acoustics.
• Experience with environmental noise surveys and assessments.
• Experience using acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, INSUL, ODEON or similar.
• Experience preparing fee proposals and project costings.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering acoustic consultancy projects across the UK.
• Planning and undertaking environmental noise monitoring surveys.
• Completing noise impact assessments for planning and development projects.
• Providing acoustic design and mitigation advice.
• Undertaking acoustic modelling and calculations.
• Preparing high-quality technical reports.
• Managing project programmes, budgets and client expectations.
• Preparing proposals, quotations and tenders.
