Job summary

Haskoning is seeking an enthusiastic acoustics professional to work on energy transition projects in the UK and internationally. You will conduct noise and vibration analyses, perform modelling and EIA work, and provide mitigation guidance across diverse sectors.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in acoustic consultancy, a related degree or IOA Diploma, and strong client-facing and collaboration skills within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience in acoustic consultancy.
• Relevant degree or IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.
• Experience with noise monitoring surveys and EIA.
• Knowledge of acoustics policy, standards and guidelines.
• Underwater noise modelling knowledge is preferred.
• Commercial awareness and client interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply noise/vibration skills across a variety of projects.
• Perform predictive calculations and modelling.
• Prepare technical reports and environmental impact assessments.
• Design building acoustics and provide mitigation advice.
• Support junior team members and contribute to business development.
• Engage with clients and pursue project opportunities.
