Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiology ACHD for a 12-month fellowship, primarily based at the Bristol Heart Institute. The post is eligible for extension up to 24 months and may include paediatric cath sessions depending on experience and training needs.

The ACHD service performs a wide range of catheter interventions, with opportunities to contribute to research, and a team of interventional consultants and imaging specialists.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in Cardiology.
• Experience in interventional cardiology (congenital, structural or coronary).
• Post CCT or completion of cardiology training.

Responsibilities

• Two/three whole days in the cath lab.
• Two weekly outpatient clinics.
• Weekly ACHD multidisciplinary team meeting.
• Liaise with Admissions, Clinical Nurse Specialist and National data audit teams; participate in departmental audits and research opportunities.
