Job summary

JHE & Partners in Brighouse is recruiting a Senior Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. The role works closely with the Finance Manager/Director to improve processes, support month-end close and audits, and handle busy accounts duties within a friendly team.

The successful candidate will have recent experience in Purchase Ledger and bank reconciliations, with a hands-on approach to improving efficiency and supporting a growing business in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a similar role
• Experience in Purchase Ledger and bank reconciliations
• Able to support month-end close and audits

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices
• Complete supplier statement reconciliations
• Prepare payment schedules
• Handle supplier queries
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Posting incoming cash and allocating customer receipts
• Support month-end close activities
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Other duties as required in a busy accounts office environment
