Job summary

PwC UK is looking for a Senior Associate in Accounting Services to help clients stay compliant and gain insights into their operations.

You will prepare statutory financial statements, perform bookkeeping, manage client portfolios, and possibly client secondments. You will also contribute to developing accounting advisory services with a focus on process improvement, technology, and controls, while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or international equivalent).
• Strong accounting skills and technical knowledge on financial reporting.
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS; some awareness of US GAAP.
• Proficient IT skills with accounting packages and Excel.
• Professional, proactive service mindset and deadline-driven work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; adaptable to changing client environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory financial statements (SFS).
• Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts.
• Manage a portfolio of clients; support secondments at client sites.
• Contribute to accounting compliance proposals and advisory development.
• Oversee junior accounting staff.
