Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This role involves overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. Handling month-end and year-end closing processes.
3. Reconciling general ledger accounts and resolving discrepancies.
4. Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions.
5. Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support strategic planning.
6. Assisting with Year-End, Quarterly, and Month-End accounts.
7. Leading the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
8. Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
9. Coordinating with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
10. Staying updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations.
