Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to deliver the financial reporting requirements for a range of complex clients, which may include companies, trusts, SPVs, funds, unit trusts, real estate entities, and other complex structures. This role will involve carrying out all tasks efficiently and effectively, in accordance with established procedures. The role is full-time and operates on a hybrid schedule.

Job Duties
  • Prepare Net Asset Values (NAV)
  • Process subscription and redemption trading
  • Assist in the establishment of new fund classes
  • Attend client meetings regarding accounting matters as required
  • Liaise with external contacts to obtain and provide required information
  • Monitor profitability and recoverability of engagements, ensuring functions are executed in accordance with agreed fee levels and identifying potential overruns to report to the client accounting manager at the earliest opportunity
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of client-specific accounting procedures
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects as required
Job Requirements
  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA or ACA)
  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Experience in accounting for fund structures
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with VBA
