Job summary

Trans Eurokars Pte Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the finance team for the Singapore branch. The role covers the full set of accounts, financial reporting, and support for audit and tax matters.

You will handle AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and month-end close while preparing P&L and balance sheet reports. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for budgeting and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience handling full set of accounts.
• Knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Able to work independently while being a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Manage full set of accounts, including general ledger and reconciliations.
• Perform month-end closing activities and ensure all entries are posted accurately.
• Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Conduct analytical review of financial fluctuations for management reporting.
• Assist with external audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Prepare information for corporate tax filings and quarterly GST submissions.
