Job summary

TPF Recruitment is supporting a highly reputable chartered accountancy practice in Lamberhurst, near Tunbridge Wells, Kent/ East Sussex, who are looking for a recently qualified Senior Accountant/ Client Manager to join their team. Our client is a well-established, multi-partner practice with an extensive client portfolio made up of some very prestigious businesses.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with 3+ years in general practice at a medium-large firm, top 10 or Big 4.
• Must be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work.
• Be fully conversant with accounting and tax standards and demonstrate skilled commercial acumen.
• Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
• Have excellent IT skills; MS Office and preferably knowledge of Iris, Sage and Xero.
• Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience, qualification and background, negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation and review for a wide range of companies.
• Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
• Reviewing work completed by junior members of the team.
• Advising clients on tax and advisory matters, and being their first point of contact.
• Supporting clients with ad-hoc project work such as corporate finance, M&A.
• Working closely with the partners and the team to ensure clients get the best service.
• Business development and networking within your client portfolio.
