Overview

A successful accountancy practice based in Newton Abbot is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team to prepare and review year end accounts, tax compliance across personal and corporate tax, and oversee VAT, bookkeeping and wider all-around responsibilities. This role acts as right-hand support to the firm's managers and partners, with increasing client management responsibility and opportunities for team development and career progression.

Responsibilities

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firm's Newton Abbot offices, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and oversee wider services for clients across varied industries and turnover ranges. You will have increasing client management responsibility, help develop and mentor teams, and progress in your accountancy practice career within a growing chartered firm of accountants.

Profile / Qualifications

You may be qualified, or part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA/ACCA etc., or have progressed through experience to date, with a background in accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery for wide-ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients. You will have developed your career toward Senior Accountant level and be seeking a challenging new opportunity.

Job Offer
