We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Northwood-based, modern cloud-accountancy practice. This role blends technical expertise, client advisory, and team leadership, offering significant influence within a fast-growing firm.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Compliance
  • Finalise statutory accounts under FRS 102 / FRS 105
  • Review and oversee bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, and payroll submissions
  • Manage all statutory filings with HMRC and Companies House
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy across client portfolios
Advisory & Strategy
  • Provide proactive tax planning and business advisory support
  • Help improve internal systems, workflows and processes
  • Deliver meaningful financial insights, KPIs and analysis to clients
  • Support the development of cloud-driven automation and efficiencies
Leadership & Team Management
  • Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members
  • Review work prepared by staff and allocate workflow effectively
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance service delivery
Client Management
  • Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients
  • Build strong long‑term relationships through proactive communication
  • Present financial information clearly and confidently to clients
