Job description

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Account Manager to manage high-value government accounts and lead client strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing relationships with key clients, overseeing complex projects, and driving account growth through strategic recommendations. You will collaborate with senior leadership and internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage high-value client accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Develop and execute strategic account development plans that align with client goals and objectives, ensuring long-term success.
  • Manage the successful execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts, presenting tailored solutions and services to increase revenue.
  • Mentor junior account managers and support their professional development through guidance and training.
  • Lead on active tenders and be responsible for the creation of artefacts required to support these new opportunities.
  • Nurture and grow a number of business development accounts in the short-to-medium term.
  • Demonstrable experience managing accounts and developing new business within the Cybersecurity or Complex Technology Solutions space.
  • Experience in responding to government tenders.
  • Familiarity with the main government frameworks such as G Cloud and CCS and of assessment criteria including the government Social Value model.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts and drive client success.
