Job description

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day activities on assigned accounts with support from multidisciplinary teams and senior leadership. The Senior Account Manager should have strong relationship‑building skills and a passion for healthcare, participating in client projects and working with internal teams to achieve objectives through integrated solutions. The position may include supervising Account Associates and Account Managers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop presentations, creative briefs, PR materials, and other communications that are strategic and meet the client’s objectives.
  • Gather, understand, and address client feedback across all deliverables.
  • Contribute to the development of clients’ marketing strategies and tactics; collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope and approach.
  • Evaluate and analyze data, including succinct summaries and recommendations for clients.
  • Partner with functional area experts to support integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee assigned project fiscal performance by monitoring budgets, billing, billable hours, monthly projections, and activity reports.
  • May supervise Account Associates and Account Managers to balance workloads, ensure access to necessary information and resources, and support career progression and performance.
  • Clearly communicate client expectations internally to ensure staffing and performance alignment.
  • Maintain ongoing, effective communications with client peers to prevent surprises and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
  • Establish and meet internal client and project revenue targets.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual strategic communications planning and business analysis.
  • Manage multiple client projects of varying sizes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • May participate in new business development by proactively identifying opportunities to grow existing business.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Healthcare PR experience is required; integrated experience is preferred.
  • Excellent business communication skills.
  • Strong informal / formal presentation and writing skills, including presenting to clients.
  • Skilled in data communication and able to explain complex technical terms, clinical trials, and studies pertaining to the brand.
  • Ability to develop final documents and presentations and to edit junior staff writing and materials.
  • Able to communicate critical information to management and the client and to work directly with clients.
  • Capable of developing solutions to client needs and problems: collaborate with internal partners to strategize ideas and research the market to identify trends and data to support ideas.
  • Understands program objectives and strategies; able to direct and synthesize research for new business.
  • Highly organized, mindful of deadlines and budgets, able to multitask and work under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic with a track record of delivering high‑quality work on schedule and on budget.
  • Professional presence with a sense of urgency and client service orientation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • High energy and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growing environment.
