DNA Recruit is looking for sharp, proactive Senior Account Manager to join a leading creative, award winning communications agency. This is a brilliant role for someone who loves earned‑led storytelling, fast‑paced campaign delivery and being the strategic engine behind standout client work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 3–4 major accounts, overseeing day-to-day activity and ensuring everything lands on time and to an exceptional standard.
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients, offering smart counsel, horizon scanning, spotting issues early and advising on the wider news/cultural landscape.
  • Lead client meetings, oversee junior team workflows and keep senior leads informed with clear, concise updates.
  • Shape media strategies, guide sell‑ins, approve materials and manage talent/interview briefings.
  • Build 360 comms plans with integrated earned, influencer and social components, knowing when to pull in specialists.
  • Oversee social content calendars, paid recommendations and influencer activity where relevant.
  • Write and quality‑check press releases, articles, proposals and supplier contracts with confidence.
  • Steer campaigns end‑to‑end, ensuring clarity of ownership, smooth delivery and early escalation of challenges.
  • Manage budgets alongside senior leads, from contracting suppliers to drafting fee schedules and tracking team time.
  • Contribute to creative development, brainstorms, new business pitches and identifying organic growth opportunities.
  • Support agency culture through knowledge sharing, running training sessions and championing junior team wins.
Key Requirements
  • Strong experience at AM/SAM level within a PR, comms or integrated agency environment.
  • Exceptionally organised, detail‑driven and able to run multiple accounts at pace.
  • Confident client communicator; able to challenge thinking, offer solutions and build strong relationships.
  • Solid grounding in media relations, influencer planning and social fundamentals.
  • Skilled copywriter with a sharp eye for accuracy and tone.
  • Supportive team leader who motivates, guides and uplifts junior colleagues.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing budgets, scopes and resourcing.
  • Creative, proactive and unflappable!
