Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives. Drive the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders, including defence agencies and other relevant entities. Understand their needs and position ADSGS solutions as the preferred choice.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and government policies that may impact ADSGS business. Provide insights into market recommendations to the leadership team for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to create compelling and competitive proposals. Ensure alignment with customer requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external Airbus teams, including engineering, program management, and customer support, to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Provide bi‑directional weekly and monthly reporting and other relevant information between ADSGS and the European affiliates, whilst identifying and sharing key stakeholder information.
ADSGS is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join our team based in the UK with opportunities for global travel. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional with a proven track record in sales and business development within the aerospace and defence industry. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and building strategic partnerships within the government sector.
Qualifications
- Relevant sales experience in the aerospace and defense industry, with a focus on government solutions.
- In‑depth understanding of ground satellite terminal equipment, government procurement processes, defense policies, and space‑related initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, as well as a history of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ability to effectively present and articulate to board level the pipeline and activities specific to the generation of business growth.
- Experience in leading the development of successful proposals for government contracts, including a strong understanding of the proposal development process.
- CRM proficiency: demonstrated proficiency in utilising Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar platforms, to manage and track sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunity pipelines.
