An independent, modern and agile B2B marketing agency is looking for a strategic, relationship‑led Senior Account Director / Head of Client Services who loves the pitch process and thrives on shaping marketing strategy for clients. This role is perfect for someone who gets energised by inbound opportunities, enjoys thinking creatively about how we win this, and takes pride in being a trusted partner to clients.

There is no execution, no cold hunting, and no volume churn this is a consultancy‑led position focused on strategy, partnership, and growing value within existing relationships.

Location:

Remote‑friendly (South/London region preferred). Occasional travel to client sites and internal meetings.

THE SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR / HEAD OF CLIENT SERVICES ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
  • Leading the pitch process for all new inbound opportunities shaping the story, approach, and strategy to win work.
  • Building and growing strategic relationships across multiple client stakeholders.
  • Acting as a senior consultant guiding clients through integrated marketing strategy across digital, content, comms, brand, campaigns and more.
  • Identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities by understanding client challenges and recommending high‑value programmes.
  • Providing clear strategic direction to the delivery team, who handle all execution.
  • Working closely with the senior leadership team on commercial planning, pipeline development, and quarterly objectives.
  • Translating insights, challenges and ambitions into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Ensuring all client programmes drive measurable business outcomes, not just marketing outputs.
THE IDEAL SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR / HEAD OF CLIENT SERVICES WILL HAVE:
  • Experience in a B2B agency, ideally in an integrated marketing environment (essential).
  • A genuine passion for the pitch process, proposals, and shaping how an agency wins work.
  • Strong commercial understanding and confidence advising clients at senior/C‑suite level.
  • A relationship‑first approach comfortable partnering deeply with clients, not pushing for transactions.
  • Strategic thinking across the full marketing mix and the ability to connect strategy to commercial outcomes.
  • Proven experience growing accounts through insight, creativity and value delivery not cold sales.
  • Ability to brief, lead and influence internal teams with clarity and purpose.
