Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider based in Plymouth seeks an experienced Technical Consultant to provide high-level technical support and manage client IT environments. You'll be responsible for ensuring system performance, leading infrastructure projects, and resolving technical issues. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in technical support, strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting. Competitive salary between £35,000 – £43,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience providing 3rd line technical support, preferably in an MSP.
• Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, server hardware, and backup/recovery solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 3rd line technical support via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Administer and optimise network and server infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and document infrastructure improvements.
