We believe every child deserves the best support to thrive and reach their full potential.

The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, helping to deliver personalised lessons tailored to the unique needs of each pupil. This is a rewarding role for individuals who are flexible, communicative, and deeply caring.

Your responsibilities will include:

  2. Providing one-to-one support and leading small group sessions
  3. Documenting pupil progress and milestones in learning journals
  4. Assisting in a variety of sessions, such as Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and Speech & Language sessions
  5. Learning and using basic Makaton (training provided)
  6. Supporting pupils during lunch and break times
  7. Engaging in soft play and sensory play activities
  8. Practicing positive behaviour management strategies to foster a safe, nurturing environment
  9. Prioritising safeguarding and creating a welcoming space for pupils to learn and grow

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone who is kind, empathetic, and ready to make a positive impact on the lives of young people. The ideal candidate will:

  1. Be a great team player, ready to work collaboratively with other TAs
  2. Have a strong ability to build meaningful relationships with pupils and staff
  3. Bring positivity and energy to the classroom, inspiring students and creating an atmosphere of encouragement and growth
  4. Be open to learning and development, particularly in areas like Makaton and behaviour management
  5. Have a background in Social Care, Support Work, or previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (though we are also happy to consider individuals from other fields who are passionate about SEND)

This is an amazing opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners and be part of a supportive and caring team. If you’re ready to support, educate, and nurture, we’d love to hear from you!
