Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Oldbury, supporting pupils with complex learning and physical needs. The role involves hands-on support with personal care, complex medical needs, mobility and physical assistance, as well as aiding learning, communication and emotional development.

The successful candidate will have Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualifications, experience with SEND, a calm, patient approach

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Ability to assist with personal care and complex needs.
• Experience aiding pupils with physical or learning difficulties.

Location: Oldbury Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Qualification: Level 3 TA OR Level 3 Health & Social Care - ESSENTIAL

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Oldbury, supporting pupils with complex learning and physical needs.

The role involves providing hands-on support with personal care, complex medical needs, mobility and physical support, as well as supporting pupils with their learning, communication and emotional needs.

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification OR Level 3 Health & Social Care - ESSENTIAL
• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• Confidence with personal care and complex needs
• Experience supporting pupils with physical and/or learning difficulties
• A calm, patient and caring approach
• The ability to work as part of a specialist school team

This role is not suitable for candidates without a Level 3 TA or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification.
