Start Date: Immediately
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £89-95 Per day (PAYE)

Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Secondary School Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school community in South East London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with students across KS3, including 1:1 support and whole‑class assistance, with a special focus on supporting students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with classroom activities and support the teacher in managing the KS3 class
  • Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to monitor progress and share feedback
What We re Looking For
  • Passionate and patient individuals committed to supporting young people with additional needs
  • Experience working with students with autism is highly desirable
  • Flexible and proactive approach to supporting both individual students and the wider class
  • Availability to start in September, with both short‑term and long‑term opportunities available
