Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Daily Supply)

Location: Harrow, North West London

Salary: Pay to scale (Depending on experience)

Contract: Short-Term / Daily Supply

Protocol Education is looking for caring, reliable, and adaptable SEND Teaching Assistants to work on a day-to-day basis within a welcoming and supportive secondary special school in Harrow.

Whether you have previous experience supporting young people with additional needs or simply bring a calm, patient, and compassionate nature, this role gives you the opportunity to make a genuine difference — one day at a time.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting pupils aged 11–16 with a range of SEND needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and classroom routines
• Providing one-to-one and small-group intervention
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive learning habits

• Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, or care backgrounds welcome)
• A flexible, calm approach with strong communication skills
