Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Gainsborough to support children with Autism in a SEND school. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2-3 qualification and experience in special education settings or caring roles. The position is temporary with the potential to become permanent, offering £95-105 per day. Aspire People are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant in Gainsborough. The position is Temporary with a possibility to become Permanent. Moreover, our client is a SEND school in Gainsborough servicing children from 6-16 years old with Autism diagnosis and associated conditions.


Candidate<

  • Level 2-3 teaching assistant qualification (preferred).

  • Experience working with special education children or young adults.

  • Experience as a carer supporting vulnerable young adults with special needs.

  • Prior experience as a sports coach, breakfast club or lunch time supervisor.

  • Experience as a youth or activity leader supporting vulnerable teenagers.


Shifts & Pay

Monday-Friday term time only. Time: 8.30-16.00. Pay: £95-105 a day. Start date: January 2026.


Requirements

You MUST have a current enhanced DBS on the updated service or be prepared to apply for one.
