A leading education recruitment agency in the UK seeks a SEND Teaching Assistant in Newton Abbot to support students with Autism and other additional needs. The role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support to enhance confidence and independence. Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays!)
Pay: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Paid Weekly via BACS – No Umbrella Deductions

Your Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored learning and provide 1:1 and small-group support. Being Team Teach trained is desirable but not essential. You’ll help students build confidence, communication, and independence through positive and engaging learning experiences.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
