SEND Teaching Assistant – Coventry/Kenilworth Area
Location: Kenilworth, Warwickshire
Contract Type: Full-time
Salary: £89 – £105 per day / £445 – £525 per week

Axcis Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with autism, ADHD and learning difficulties in a mainstream setting with strong SEND provision.

Role
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention work
  • Support literacy, numeracy and communication development
  • Assist with pastoral support, regulation strategies and social skills
  • Use visuals, scaffolding and behaviour plans consistently
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO

  • SEND support experience (autism, learning needs or social/emotional)
  • Confident adapting activities and breaking down tasks
  • Calm, positive and proactive
  • Dedicated to inclusive practice
