A leading education provider is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Yate to support a Year 3 pupil with an ASD diagnosis. The candidate will work under the guidance of educational professionals, ensuring tailored support in class and during playtime. Strong empathy and experience in education are preferred. The role offers up to £105.89 per day with hours from 08:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.
The primary school is based in South Gloucestershire in Yate. They're looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a child in Y3 who has an ASD diagnosis. The child is non‑verbal and has delayed learning. You'd be directed by the EHCP, SENCO and the class teacher and support would be in place as needed. You'd be in the classroom where possible but also comfortable supporting the child in the playground, resource hub and 'quiet rooms'.

The school hours are 08:30 - 3:30 each day Monday to Friday.
