Location: Tamworth, B77 Birmingham
Pay Rate: £105 - 115
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We're looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in Tamworth, with a focus on children who require tailored support in a mainstream setting.

This welcoming school is seeking a calm, caring and confident TA to work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who may have Autism, Speech and Language Needs, ADHD and social, emotional or mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support pupils with a range of SEND, adapting to their individual learning needs.
  • Provide consistent structure and reassurance, especially for children with SEMH or ASD.
  • Work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to implement EHCPs and learning strategies.
  • Encourage communication, confidence, and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment for all.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • Confident managing behaviours linked to ADHD, SEMH and ASC.
  • Patient, resilient and proactive - able to build strong, trusting relationships.
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Must be available full-time and ready to commit to a long-term role.
