Teaching Personnel

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

Start: September 2025

Schedule: Full Time

Location: Runcorn (WA7)

Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

We are seeking a skilled SEND teaching assistant to join a warm and welcoming school within the Runcorn community. This full-time position involves providing dedicated support to students with SEND needs, working both 1:1 and in small group settings to help enhance their educational experience.

The Special Educational Needs Coordinator adopts a collaborative approach, working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to meet the individual needs of each child. The school collaborates with external professionals to provide specialized support and interventions, ensuring that SEND students receive the appropriate assistance to enhance their learning experiences.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with SEND previously in education
  • Can deliver a calm, empathetic and positive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable
