Monkshouse Primary Academy invites applications for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of needs, including cognition and learning, communication, social/emotional and sensory/physical difficulties. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible teaching assistant to support SEND pupils with difficulties in all four broad areas of the SEND Code of Practice; Cognition & Learning Difficulties, Communication & Interaction Difficulties, Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and Sensory/Physical Difficulties.
The role will involve working with the pupils to meet their targets within the classroom environment, in small groups and individually, delivering a range of approaches and interventions to support the specific needs of the pupils. The role may also involve working within different classrooms to meet the needs of the school.
