The school is seeking an adaptable and engaging team player to take on this role, as SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND TA. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND TA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the young people's individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students aged 16+ with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, and challenging behaviours. The pupils are taught in smaller class sizes and work towards an Equals Semi-Formal Curriculum and National Curriculum expectations where appropriate.
