SEN Teaching Assistant - Corby (All-Through SEN Schools)

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Salary: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent opportunities

Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with several all-through special educational needs (SEN) schools in Corby, supporting pupils aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to severe learning disabilities. We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join these inclusive and inspiring settings.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and therapists to support pupils both academically and emotionally. You will help deliver tailored learning activities, promote positive engagement, and provide one-to-one or small group support to help children develop confidence and independence. You'll also play a vital role in creating a calm, nurturing classroom environment where every young person can feel safe, valued, and understood.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, care, or youth work. Above all, you'll have a patient, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to help children with additional needs thrive.
