Job summary

Affinity Partnerships is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Kingston upon Thames. The role involves supporting children with a range of SEND, working with teachers to help pupils access learning and achieve individual goals in a supportive environment.

You will often work on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, using patient and adaptable approaches, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication to foster inclusion and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Patience, caring, adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Genuine passion for helping children reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEND to access learning and participate in activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement learning goals.

Affinity Partnerships is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Kingston upon Thames.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop independence and achieve their individual goals within a supportive and inclusive environment.
