SEND Teacher – Part-time or Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing, starting as soon as possible

We are seeking passionate SEND Teachers to work across a variety of school settings supporting pupils with special educational needs. These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who want to make a meaningful impact and enjoy working in diverse educational environments.

Duties as SEND Teacher
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Plan and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet individual requirements
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and uphold safeguarding procedures
Ideal SEND Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEND in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
