Job summary

SENse Learning in Salisbury is seeking SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support for learners with SEND across home, in-person, and community settings. Multiple positions, rolling interviews, and flexible, trauma-informed teaching.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) required.
  • Child-centred, holistic teaching approach with ability to tailor curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
  • UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge and safe learning environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
  • Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid support to learners with SEMH and SEND needs.
  • Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring tailored to EHCPs.
  • Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
