Job summary

Educato Limited is partnering with a Middleton-based school to recruit a dedicated HLTA. You will support teaching and learning across the school, lead small groups, and deliver pre-planned lessons while working closely with teachers to raise attainment.

The role requires an HLTA qualification or strong comparable experience, a supportive, engaging manner, and a proactive approach to pupil development. DBS enhanced check required; weekday hours 8:30am-3:30pm.

• Experience leading lessons and supporting learners of all abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

We're working with a great school in Middleton who are looking for someone enthusiastic and reliable to join their team, supporting teaching and learning across the school, leading lessons and covering classes when needed, as well as working with individual pupils and small groups to support their learning and development.

What You'll Be Doing:

Compliance and Safeguarding

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child/child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2025) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.

HLTA qualification or strong experience in a similar role
