  • Annual Salary: M1 to M6 - £32916 to £45350

  • Job Type: Part-time, Monday, Tuesday and Friday

This specialist speech, language and communication difficulties and associated is seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. This role involves working within a small class team, providing personalised support to pupils/students at our residential special school and college. We cater to pupils/students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties, and other associated SEND.

Day‑to‑day of the role
  • Provide tailored support to pupils/students, ensuring their individual needs are met in a nurturing and supportive manner.
  • Assist in the delivery of educational programs and activities designed to facilitate the learning and development of pupils/students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a positive and effective learning environment.
  • Monitor and support the progress of pupils/students, adapting techniques as needed to suit individual learning styles and requirements.
  • Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting pupils/students with SEND.
Required Skills & Qualifications
