Job summary

John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) is appointing two Teaching Assistants to support two children with SEND in our school. The roles are fixed-term for 3 years, part-time (25 hours per week) during term time plus 5 INSET days.

Salary is Grade 2 SCP 4 (£26,016 pro rata) with an actual salary of £15,187.20 per annum. Closing date 29 September 2026; interviews 30 September 2026. Experience in assisting learning and SEND strategies is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning within a school setting.
• Good understanding of English, Maths and SEND strategies.
• Ability to respond to learning needs with patience and commitment.

Responsibilities

• Support two children with specific needs in KS1/KS2.
• Assist with learning activities aligned to SEND plans.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor milestones.
