A local educational organization is seeking a SEND Support Assistant to work with secondary school students with additional needs. The role involves providing tailored support to help students access learning and promoting positive behaviors. Ideal candidates should have experience with SEND and a patient, empathetic approach. If you’re calm under pressure and passionate about helping young people with additional needs feel understood and supported, this Secondary SEND Support role could be a brilliant fit. A local secondary school is looking for someone steady, caring and confident to join their SEND team and make a real difference to pupils who need extra guidance.
You’ll work directly with students who have a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and stay settled in class. No two days will look the same, and you’ll be part of a supportive team who value patience, teamwork and consistency.
You may work one‑to‑one, support small groups or help pupils within the classroom alongside the teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
