Job summary

The Dales School in England is seeking a skilled SEND Teacher to support pupils with severe and complex needs. You will join an established team delivering provision for our pupils and have direct experience of working with children with SEND.

Interviews will be held week commencing 28th September. You will actively engage with your class team to ensure learning experiences are carefully planned, well resourced, and focused on developing core skills for independence and progress.

Qualifications

• Direct experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• Held a recognised teaching qualification.
• Passionate, enthusiastic, driven and ready for a challenge.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to resource across the curriculum.
• Commitment to supporting pupils’ holistic development.

Responsibilities

• Teach and plan learning for a group of pupils with SEN.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
• Work as part of a team and lead others where appropriate.
• Apply SEN Code of Practice and maintain related paperwork.
