Job summary

A leading temporary staffing agency in the United Kingdom is seeking an HNF Team Manager to ensure accurate management of funding related to the High Needs Block. You will oversee financial reporting, handle queries, and manage a team of finance assistants. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Excel and knowledge of relevant funding mechanisms. This is a full-time temporary position offering competitive pay.

Job description

The HNF Team Manager is responsible for ensuring that all funding related to the High Needs Block is accounted for and passported to the correct recipients, accurately and timely, via a variety of payment mechanisms. The role also reports on expenditure, financial commitments and forecasts.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge / experience of Synergy, ERP Gold and Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  • Working knowledge / experience of Dedicated Schools Grant High Needs Block.
Key Daily Responsibilities
  • Update all master spreadsheets with all funding decisions to accurately calculate the financial year commitment and allow for invoice verification and funding statements to be produced.
  • Investigate any funding queries and update master spreadsheets as required.
  • Manage 2 × Finance Assistants (they check and process all invoices against the master spreadsheets and collate onto an ERP interface for payment).

This role is a full‑time temporary contract position.
