Job summary

Dovetail and Slate Gloucestershire is seeking a SEND Lecturer to deliver engaging, inclusive teaching to learners with a range of needs, adapting to individual goals and creating a supportive learning environment.

You will work with support staff and families to monitor progress, provide feedback, and help students progress to further study, employment or independence, maintaining safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching or supporting learners with SEND.
• Ability to plan differentiated lessons and adapt materials.
• Strong commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to learners with SEND.
• Adapting teaching materials and assessment methods to suit individual needs.
• Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Working collaboratively with support staff, colleagues and families to support each student.
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment.
