Job summary

Tendring is a region where schools play a pivotal role in community growth. We are looking for individuals who can act as stable, positive figures for students with additional needs, helping them navigate the challenges of secondary education in a supportive and inclusive way.

The Role
  • Diverse Support: Work with students across the SEND spectrum, including ASD (Autism), ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health).
  • Inclusive Education: Assist students in mainstream classrooms to ensure they can follow the curriculum alongside their peers.
  • Skill Building: Run small intervention groups focused on developing social communication and life skills.
  • Progress Tracking: Collaborate with the SENCO to record achievements and help students meet the targets set out in their EHCPs.
