Job summary

Dovetail and Slate Ltd is seeking an experienced SEND EAA Specialist Assessor in Cambridgeshire. You will conduct Exam Access Arrangement assessments, gathering evidence and producing robust reports to ensure learners can access assessments fairly.

The role requires specialist knowledge of SEND, current access arrangement regulations, and the ability to communicate clearly with learners, staff and families. A person-centred approach is essential to support individual learners.

Qualifications

• Experience assessing learners with SEND.
• Understands Exam Access Arrangement regulations and awarding body requirements.
• Produces clear, accurate and well-evidenced reports.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Exam Access Arrangement assessments for learners with SEND.
• Gather and interpret evidence to establish each learner's normal way of working.
• Produce accurate, compliant reports in line with awarding body and regulatory requirements.
• Work alongside teaching and learning support staff to implement appropriate arrangements.
• Maintain clear records and ensure all documentation is kept up to date.
• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on access arrangements and SEND support.
