We are looking for an experienced and passionate Early Years professional to join our Children's Services, Education team as an Early Years SEND Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to influence inclusive practice across the early years sector, ensuring all children - particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - receive high-quality support and achieve their full potential. Based at our Walton Street offices with an agile working style, you will work closely with a wide range of early years providers to improve outcomes., As an Early Years SEND Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting, challenging and advising early years providers to deliver inclusive, high-quality provision aligned with statutory frameworks.
Ensuring that children and young people in Buckinghamshire reach their potential is a primary focus within our Education service. It's essential that we provide inclusive and life-long learning opportunities for all of our young people - so we look to raise standards, attainment and aspirations in a number of ways.
Our key priorities include: improving the quality and timeliness of Education, Health and Care Plans and the support families of children with SEND receive; reducing the number of exclusions both permanent and fixed term; and providing the children of Buckinghamshire with the highest quality education possible.
