Job summary

Leicestershire Adult Learning Service (Go Learn) is seeking a casual SEND Assessor to assess access arrangements for exams and support adult learners across online and classroom settings. You will work with apprentices and post-19 learners, offering strategies to improve teaching and learning experiences.

You will join a small team, with DBS checks required and opportunities to modulate workload across weeks or terms. The role supports flexible and inclusive education within Leicestershire.

Qualifications

• Level 7 SEND assessor qualification (e.g. CPT3A).
• Level 5 teaching qualification (minimum).
• Substantial experience teaching adults and SENCO assessments.
• Experience delivering post-16 learning and engaging disadvantaged adults.

Responsibilities

• Assess access arrangements for exams as required by curriculums.
• Provide advice on supportive strategies to learners and tutors.
• Moderate reports and ensure QA/QI processes are followed.
