St Mary's Catholic Academy, part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team as SENCO and KS1 Class Teacher.

The successful candidate will lead and develop our SEND provision while teaching Key Stage 1, ensuring inclusive practice, strong assessment for progress, and collaborative links with staff, parents, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be eligible to teach in the UK.
• Demonstrate a recognised SENCo qualification or equivalent.
• Experience delivering high-quality KS1 provision within an inclusive setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop SEND provision across the school.
• Teach within Key Stage 1 and implement effective learning strategies.
• Analyse pupil progress and use assessment data to improve outcomes for pupils with SEND.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to support inclusive education.
