About the SENDCo role:
  • Lead and oversee all SEND provision as the school s dedicated SENDCo
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff and external professionals to ensure strong collaboration
  • Take responsibility for EHCPs, annual reviews, interventions and SEND strategy
  • Provide guidance, coaching and training to staff to help develop effective inclusive practice
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies to support holistic progress

  • Qualified Teacher Status with the national SENDCo qualification (or working towards it)
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and high-quality SENDCo practice
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
